Gender-bending superstars from Shake the Drag Queen to Bianca Give Rio have honed their craft compact NYC stages, and the scene shows no signs of slowing. These era, you can catch drag queens (often for free) every night of illustriousness week onstage at gay bars during the boroughs (and in Fire Island), and even on Broadway stages angst shows like Kinky Boots serving untamed free performances.
